Week 53 Resolution

It is so hard to believe we are in our last week of our project 52. I have had such a great time with all these talented ladies! Watching us grow over the past year, not only in our professional lives but our personal lives as well. I have mixed emotions about this project ending…so glad I stuck through to the end, some weeks were a struggle to get that image posted and other weeks I couldn’t wait. It was a good push for me.

This year, after much thought, my resolution is more than one thing, but they all do come full circle. The first thing is to learn to be a little more carefree, less serious and worried. After all we don’t have control of all things, our path is already chosen. I will learn to enjoy the ride more.

Second, to stop and enjoy the small things, take time to take it all in and really enjoy the moment. With all the technology we have these days it’s so easy to become distracted. I want to stay focused, slow down and enjoy those moments.

Case in point…as challenging as life and parenthood are I don’t want to miss a thing, not a word not a moment. I know that may not be totally realistic, but I resolve to slow down, enjoy the little things, not be so serious all the time, take in the moments, write down things my little ones say and take more snapshots of them so I never forget! Life is not perfect and neither am I but in the end it’s the little things that matter! Happy New Year everyone!
